If you tend to procrastinate on doing things, then you're most likely trying to avoid some sort of discomfort that the task will bring (pain, anxiety, stress, fear of failure, etc.), but, if you make a habit of letting tasks undone then you'll sentencing yourself to suffer even greater pains in the future. So, the best way to solve procrastination is just... get things done, don't put work off until it's too late. Your future self will thank your past (present) self for taking control of your life.
>>33771078>Unsolicited feedback on your advice.I don't think "just do it or future will be le bad", is a good way of putting it, despite it being factually correct. Sometimes "the future" doesn't seem like a good motivation to do things. You need techniques that will push you into doing the stuff you need getting done. And those techniques definitely exist.
>Muh kekin' MOTIVATION lol If you need inspiration for "Self-Improvement" You've already lost.KYS

>>33771122>You need techniques that will push you into doing the stuff you need getting done. Knowing such techniques may be useful, but it is not enough, one must take action throughly. Also, worrying about the "right" way to do things can turn into an impairment in of itself. An idiot that attacks at life is better off than a diligent planner that hesitates too much before taking action>>33771130Sneed
>>33771244>An idiot that attacks at life is better off than a diligent planner that hesitates too much before taking actionThat is true. And it painfully hits home for me.
>>33771078OP is right. Waiting for motivation to come or using shortcuts and techniques will only get you so far. 9 times out of 10 you need to just need to do the damn thing, right then and there.
