I've been thinking of removing films and television from life and just getting entertainment from reading old books and listening to records. I'm sick of woke shit. Has anyone done this? Is it a good way to live?

There's a Hamlet film adaptation from the 20's where they genderswapped him and made him a girl pretending to be a male prince, and Orson Welles also directed a version of the play that had an all black cast in like the 30's

i'm "woke" but i actually don't watch tv or movies because they are boring slop that badly alters your views on reality. your life will get infinitely better and you will see everything more clearly the more you interact with real life people and the less you interact with the same 100 hollywood writers' ideas of other people.
