I want to be clear that I don't just hate specifically Florida. And really, it's a nice enough place. What I hate about Florida is common across most of the places I've seen. That said. I'm a small town super sperg. I am allergic to driving anywhere but an empty mountain road. Not just allergic to driving, I am also too easily overwhelmed by social anything and too poor to live in a major city that doesn't rely on driving. I become genuinely emotionally unstable, and easily lash out when I live in these kinds of large unisolated places. That's if I don't dose myself with weed or other drugs I want to keep away from. These places are so stressful for me to live in that I'm just constantly on edge. I can actively feel myself becoming hateful and bitter and it's not what I want to be like. I just don't have much of a choice unfortunately just because isolated places don't have much in the way of work.My real question here is. How do I get out as fast as possible realistically? Living in a suburb is just as stressful if it's anywhere near a major city or, is some kind of exurb. The best Ideas I can come up with is finding some kind of work that I can do remotely, saving, and then buying a incredibly cheap house in the middle of the post unwanted location I can. Like, some town in the panhandle of Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Nevada, etc.
I hate Miami. You should be grateful. Just ask around for work.

You can get starlink for internet if you have a remote job. When you have money you could buy land for cheaper than a house and build what you can at your pace.
>>33778729100% I could live in an RV. I'd prefer not too but it's an option. I say "realistically" because in some of these places there are still 100k, even 90k houses that are in need of a buyer, and have a low property tax county/town and seem to be in legitimately good condition. The location is the issue. I'm frugal, good at saving so, I can have a massive down payment or even pay cash if I can stick it out long enough with the fairly high paying job I have now.
>>33778762Just have a solid plan for making money because these remote areas have a shit job market compared to Florida.
