I know many people who have done it and love it.Basically you can put the location that you're interested in visiting, and then you can start looking through locations (usually farms but it can be all sorts of stuff). The typical agreement is that you'll work 5 hours a day 5 days a week in exchange for accommodations and free meals –So unlike couchsurfing you're working, but I feel like that actually helps you feel like you're contributing. I've done couchsurfing and it can feel kind of weird to just be crashing at someone's place.I have lots of friends who have WWOOF'd and they typically have loved it. A great way to be in a place for free, have free food, try out different kinds of works, and have lots of time to explore the place. If you get along with the people you're WWOOFing for and like the work, you can often times end up sticking around for much longer than the initially agreed upon timeframe.Just a thought!
