Hi, yesterday a random steam user sent me a friend request and today he asked me if I could give him some trade cards because he want to level up his steam profile. I said to send the offer and he did like istantly and asked for a shit tons of cards. I didn't accept yet. Is it a scam of some sort?
>He's a memeber since 10 september 2024
>Got 300 hours in CS2
>He's in 8 groups, mostly anime
>Got background images and effects for the profile pic
>Has 18 games
>Got 62 friends

It seems legit but the fact that he sent the trade instantly with a shit tons of cards make me feels like he's a bot or something

Trade ban only applies if you do REAL MONEY TRADING like those CS2/CSGO skin sites.

You deserve to get trade banned for buying on those black market. All virtual goods are only sold for STEAM WALLET currency and NOT real money. They trace the reported stolen item and it traces back to you that's how you get banned.

One of the party didn't agree with the trade and was gotten illegitimately.

You're probably just some dumb Steam user who doesn't know how to make use of those cards so obviously they just go upfront and ask. Since you don't care about those they expect you to send all those cards and make good use of it.

It means nothing to you being displayed so go give it to him. If its too much fucking tell him up front that you ain't giving your entire cards since you want to keep some as a sentimental collection.

If you know how to level up your Steam account you'd understand most of this shit but you don't and you're stupid.
