Simply say you feel highly resentful and jealous when you see your wife TAKING CARE OF your son. Fuck that word "coddle". There's no such thing as "coddling" a literally an infant.
It's a safe guess that during your life you have not received the love and support you deserve, especially not in your younger years. You are in the process of breaking the chains of generational curses.
It's okay to be vulnerable, it's okay for people, even men to receive comfort and love when they are vulnerable, instead of the "man up crybaby" narc boomer bullshit.
You just gotta reprogram yourself to understand that it's healthy to love and be loved, and to respond to weakness with nurturing and support. There's more than enough love to go around for everyone, love is not a zero sum game. Maybe your wife isn't the nicest to you but she's just an imperfect human like you, ultimately you have to love yourself to give yourself a foundation so stresses of life don't push you off balance.
