>They send me some pre generated generic response template that doesn't even relate to what I'd said
>Stress that this is going to impact my department's ability to work
>They repeat the generic message, then ask me to watch the video (which covered extremely basic first time setup stuff for devices)
>Send them screenshots and explain that my issue is not first time setup, and that even if it were, this issue prevents me from doing it
>They marked the issue "on hold" to give me time to watch the video and asked me to watch it again
>I watch the video and still it doesn't relate to the situation at all

walk over to their department and talk to them directly. Be a squeaky wheel, be annoying and lay out the problem in excruciating detail. Nerds are passive assholes, but they're always cowards when faced with an assertive person. Don't be polite, tell them exactly why their inaction and unrelated responses make them look incompetent. They don't get called out enough so they've managed to skirt by on half assed nothing work and will continue to do so until someone holds them accountable.

Just let the place burn at that point. There's nothing you can really do. The company will only notice when shit starts to actually fall apart and when it does, just tell them all of this. I recommend keeping notes, email correspondence, and screenshots/recordings of your interactions though. Then you'll have proof for where the incompetence is coming from. Hell, you can get the proof and then take it to whoever is above those guys and see if that does anything.

That said, working extra hard is just going to make them start treating you like that's your default and how you should always be working at that paygrade. So be careful
