I'm 18 and a complete friendless loser. So, should I just give up on getting an IRL life and get back into vidya games? >Have about $600 in the bank>Might be able to pick up this gaming PC with almost top of the line specs for $400 being sold by a mom punishing her sonI will likely transition to sitting in my room 24/7 full time if I make this purchase as I won't have much money left to pay for my car insurance and gas.>Currently I just read Wikipedia and browse 4chan for digital entertainment, PC too shit to run even 2000s vidya
do you want to become suicidal? it sounds like you're trying to become suicidal
>>33816809>So, should I just give up on getting an IRL life and get back into vidya games?Literally me Anyways, you can find a good pc for $400? Jesus man where are you lookin? Also I’d be your friend but unfortunately there’s no way to follow through with that here. I say do it. If you’ve been dealt bad cards, you can only do what you can with them. Not force your life into something that isn’t.
Balance? Half half? Unless you got a megaplan which you don't
>>33816809Bro, you're 18, it is nowhere close to over
>>33816809https://youtu.be/lqZehFAwoTM?t=32It's over as soon as you turn 18 and leave the school system without a well established social circle. You go to work, but you won't make any friends, just coworkers. You join a sports club, same deal. It's over, because everyone already has their social circles locked in since childhood. You'll be nothing more than a coworker, destined to be alone for life. Social life and relationships are like trains you have to catch at the quay, a race against time that takes place during adolescence. And by extension, logically of course, no social life and no women. But normies don't understand this because they are clueless normies who think you can walk into a bar full of strangers and magically form a social life like in The Sims. Only women can start from scratch and create a social life and get a boyfriend from scratch because of their status as women.Whether you're 30 or 18 it doesn't change anything, maybe for the normies, but for you and me Chud, a year is like any other, the sands of time flowing towards nothingness, nothing more.. nothing less.
>>33816809As someone who never got out of video games, and reading your current budget I wouldn't do it. At least not now. I've never been in debt due to good budgeting. Advice that my grandpa gave me that worked because percentages don't matter with how inflation works. Save 10% of your paycheck as a back-up fund to never touch except for emergencies, treat it like a retirement fund. Save another 10% as your PC fund. When your PC fund eventually builds up, then you buy and do so on Black Friday. Removing 66% of what you have to your name to buy a PC is insane. What if your car breaks down? Now for the social part. 18 is nothing. I didn't start making friends outside of school until I was 25. I did that by going to a gaming store to play board games weekly all by myself. I don't suggest that for you because it's a expensive hobby. Or if you do, just don't buy any games. Covid killed that my board game group (not literally, I hope) after 2 years. I got another friend group from gaming online. I think you should get back into gaming at some point. It is a good way to have a group to play with. In the meantime, if you want to know about some games, start watching Youtube and Twitch. Also get Ublock for Firefox so you don't need to watch ads. You'll meet people over time as long as you actually go out to places. Be smart with your money and be careful about addictive things like video games, trading card games, gambling, cigarettes, drugs and alcohol. I suggest never touching those last 4.
>>33816809>should I just give up on getting an IRL life and get back into vidya games?Do you want to end up with severe regret and make yourself even further behind your peers when you inevitably can't live like this anymore?>I will likely transition to sitting in my room 24/7 full timeHave you ever tried making friends or being social? Have you put a genuine effort into doing this? Unless you are downright hideous then there is no reason to give up because the temporary discomfort you get from initially socializing is going to be far less than the loneliness and isolation you're going to get.
Oh my fucking god dude. Buy the PC for $400 and sell it for $800 if it’s really that fucking good???? I stg some of you just don’t like money. You literally had a lock fall into your lap and you want to ruin your life with it instead.
>>33816809Come to /fit/.
>>33816809While trying to get women as a noob is a monumental effort, the NEET lifestyle does get old after a while. So you end up turning your real life into Dark Souls to overcome the boredom.
>>33816809>18You're a literal baby, go pick up some weights.
