My friend was being really mean to her bf recently when we were all hanging out together. She's normally not very nice to him, but this time it was like "why is he just putting up with how she's treating him?"

I feel really bad for this guy, and I try not to involve myself in other people's business but this made me concerned enough that I had to pull my friend aside and ask her why she was treating him that way.

She got MAD mad at me. Like cussing and yelling and stuff. She told me to mind my own business but how am I supposed to ignore somebody treating someone so bad in front of me?

I half thought I should just cut contact but I felt like I should let the guy know it's not normal the way she treats him B4 I cut ties. So I got in touch with him and he actually started crying.

She threatens his dog while he's at work, and he's locked into a lease with her till the end of the year so they're trying to make things work. Apparently a month or two before the lease renews she starts treating him nice again, makes him think she changed, and starts being mean again.

I told him I'm not going to be hanging out with my friend anymore, and that he should consider finding somewhere else to live where she won't do these things to him. He talked about it with her and moved out.

Someone has been putting roadkill on the hood of my car most mornings since and I think it's my former friend doing it. I don't have any proof, and I live in an apartment so I don't have the freedom to like rig up a camera and catch her in the act. What should I do?

Have you not heard of a dash cam?

I'm not a lawyer nor can I tell you if the police will help at all but you do need to confirm who exactly is doing it and security footage is absolutely evidence. You could also post footage online as a remedy or report it to neighborhood watch. Dash cam needs a parking mode with proper battery while the car is off and night vision if needed. $100-200 on amazon probably worth it.
