It starts when everything you thought you would do one day makes you realize that you will do them soon enough to achieve them or simply leave them as the possibilities you had in life.

We don't see life as it is, we see life as we are, this age is precious, try everything you want.

You just have to be brave enough to get a job, any job, and see what happens then. University is pointless if you don't have a clear technical inclination.

i think seeing adulthood as the beginning of life or the end of "the good part" is the wrong way to go about it, it just leaves everyone wondering "what the hell do i do now?"

Seems like all these things don't sound appealing to you. Life doesn't have to be that way, most people just stick with that because it's easier than finding freedom, so much easier that many of them don't even think about looking for it.
Your goal should be finding your freedom, what your life should look like, who you want to be.

Stick around for everything. Every sunrise and sunset, every new place to go and new friend to make, every bruise and scrape and broken bone, it's all worth it.

A job is completely optional as a female, as long you arent obese you can just housewifemaxx. As for it "getting better", it depends entirely on you finding meaning or direction in life.

Well, it's not something that starts automatically with an event like a game at 18. Instead, it progressively improves. In the sense that everything you thought as a child (like "when I grow up, I'll have a house with lots of dogs" or "when I grow up, I'll help people") can now come real.
And not only can you fulfill your childhood wishes, but you can also discover new dreams, passions (like vocations), hobbies or even skills.
This stage also allows you to make good friends for the rest of your life.
It's when you have no ties or limitations and can freely explore without restrictions. And (over time) you'll discover many interesting things for yourself. It's when you begin to lay the foundations for the rest of your life. So don't worry, run, explore and enjoy!
