I'm kinda torn as to where to take my education from here. I've decided my goal is to get into a top school in the world (ivy leagues around the world) OR a lesser regarded school BUT ONLY if its for engineering. The catch is - im a mature student now and this would be a goal that would not be achieved for a decade or so cause I have to work and live a life , but learning never stops and I love it so much, I'll be the UNC on campus and that's fine with me. What I do have going for me , my local school IS a T5 in our country - people from there are known to go to onto Oxford, Ivies etc AND the school I'm currently at (local school) has a transfer agreement with them. This would be the fastest path to getting there BUT the PROBLEM is - with my current academics I wouldn't be admitted into into a hard science - probably a bachelor of arts at best , I could turn it around but it would take a whole another year to do that. HOWEVER -- this school does have a BA in MATH and I wouldn't start until 2026 FALL. This gives me just under a year to shore up my math , the good thing about this is - I can nurse it , basically take the minimum number of classes because I already have all my electives done , and my minor is out of the way as well , all that would be left is math classes and if I take a few years while playing catch up in math and just taking the lighter math classes -- I fully believe I can make it. Those few years would also give me time to build up extracurricular and an impressive portfolio anyway give me my best shot. The classes aren't crazy expensive either if u take the minimum or drop to part time - its very doable.
>>33834325OPTION 2 Finish up my bachelors at current location just to get a bachelors out of the way and get the highest GPA I can and go for a masters at the T5 school , and aim for a PHD or a second masters at an even higher school. OPTION 3Finish Bachelors essentially, level up high school marks to the max and then make a push for an engineering program from ANY reputable university in country and just forget the ivy dream, engineers good enough and maybe go for a TOP 3 school in just my country for an eng masters if I do really well. Remember, I'm not on a crunch like the kids are , I'm willing to work towards this goal over a long stretch of time.

>>33834325>>33834334>>33836937Dude, you can't tell "it's" from "its", yet you want to go to an Ivy League school? Also, forget it as a mature student. If you were smart or motivated enough you would have achieved this goal at a normal age when your brain efficiency was at its peak. Instead, you should go seek help at a mental institution because you show clear signs of someone being in a manic state with delusions of grandeur. Reality is gonna hit you like a truck when the mania dissipates, so it's better to not waste time on projects obviously deemed to fail.
>>33837001>Dude, you can't tell "it's" from "its"oh sorry I didn't know 4chan is where I submit my application fuckin dick. It would be delusions of grandeur if I set an unrealistic timeline or unrealistic pathways such as how do I get there within the next academic year , Im giving myself a decade, starting a few years in after working on some EC's , improving my stats, leveling up all my gpa's etc Also note Ivy is just the north star GOAL, just the virtue of working towards that still leads to well rounded individuals.
>>33837242These universities want the top of the crop. You can't just spend 20, 25, 30 years neeting and doing nothing... then suddenly play a catch up game. This would be unreasonable for a normal school, let alone an Ivy League one. They seek exceptional people. The mature students they accept have a good curriculum from a young age, but usually had medical issues or other problems at some point which delayed their submission. They don't look after average people. And if you think "oh, no worries... I'll just become a better individual", then you need to realize how hollow that is in your situation. Imagine an intellectually deficient person who learns to read at 40, and he's like "hell yeah! time to apply to high school now and even if I'm not accepted I'll become a better person!". Sure, he's going to become a better person but in the grand scheme of things he's still far behind other people because he attained that goal at such an old age.

>>33834325ETH Zurich technically admits everyone that qualifies. https://ethz.ch/en/studies/bachelor/application/non-swiss-matriculation-certificate/faq.html?question=11828&category=16832&title=do-i-satisfy-the-admission-requirements-for-bachelors-degree-studies-at-eth-zurichhttps://www.swissuniversities.ch/en/topics/studying/admission-to-universities/countries-1 But “qualification” of an European high school education + German language are unfortunately often beyond most third-worders. They also have this big exam that is designed to kick people out though, in the 2nd year I believe. German universities are the same. Although, the only “top” school is probably Bonn for math. No one outside math knows about it though. Transferring to ivies is retarded though, even if it’s possible, even if you can afford it. Especially as a foreigner, you gonna end up at El Salvador.>has a transfer agreement with themSounds like BS, you probably misunderstood things. These top schools do have exchange programs, and there are longer 1 year programs so students from certain universities can finish their study/thesis there. But it’s not like you get a degree from oxford this way.
>>33834325If you're White then just give up. These institutions are rigged against Americans and there is nothing left in them for us. They're already dead.
