I was raised a christian and I used to go to church every sunday, pray to God every single day, study theology and things like that. Not as a meme or because I was trying to larp for political clout, but because I genuinely believed. But after I went to college I abandoned God and the church. Everyone was either an atheist/into meme astrology nonsense and I think I wanted to fit in. That's when I met my first girlfriend. Or rather she met me, since she was the one who started following me around and made all the advances. Women never paid attention to me before so I just went along with it.But now that we both graduated, I find myself being drawn to God again. But she has no idea. She knows I used to be religious, but she thinks that's something that's buried in the past and not coming back. She's also super leftist. Pro abortion. Doesn't want children. Etc.BUT as much as I disagree with all her opinions, I still feel like I owe her something after spending so much time together and making all those promises that we would always be together and that we were going to get married as soon as we could. But I also realize how schizo it would sound if I told her that God has been talking to me again. I really don't know what I should do or how to even tell her I'm actually completely different person. My only two real choices are to either tell her the whole truth and that if we are to get married, she needs to convert to Christianity and accept all this dogma which she most certainly finds absurd and ridiculous. Or I could break up with her nicely and spare having to make her decide between leaving me or begrudglingly joining a religion she has nothing but contempt for.Any advice for this situation? I already asked a priest, and he said that marrying this woman would be a huge mistake. Also if you want to tip your fedora at me go elsewhere.

Either way you'll have gained experience in the only way of dealing with women, which is your way or the highway.
