Figure out what flaws make people not want to be around you and promise yourself to work on those things. If you're in school then you should try to make friends with those around you with small steps. Be honest with your flaws and tell people that it's okay to correct you and have an open mind that people aren't trying to hurt you they just want to level with you. just because you fit doesn't mean you're meant to be, sometimes some friendships aren't meant to last and that's okay.

Sorry for responding so late this was my first ever time being on this website so i didn't know how to reply.
Self compassion is self patience, nothing comes easy and you should be okay with that as when you reach the goal you have you will realize your struggle and patience was worth it. I can't say what will personally work for you as that is something for you to discover but what i can say is that the start of trying to fix the issue will be the hardest and you will have to reflect on what you really want but when you come to that decision you need to fully believe in it because only you can keep yourself going truly. Finding a good support system is good don't get me wrong, trust in others and let them trust in you. You will realize that the more you progress the more compassion you will have for yourself and your achievements.
