Big part of my 20s I was a loser with no job, only focused on education and gaming, hence I never even bothered with the whole dating stuff, didn't want to even.Fast forward to my late 20s I managed to land a decent paying job with great work life balance, so I've been thinking a lot that I can do more in life and want to start dating but I'm just a very shy social retard who also has nice guy tendencies. All of this makes me boring at best and pathetic at worst. Basically I want any reading materials or advice on how to go back to my old ways of never seeking or wanting a partner.

>>33854318You don't.It's part of our nature.Let me gie you an example, my mother died like 15 years ago. It still hurts to remember her sometimes but at the same time the pain lessens. Same shit with wanting a partner, fill your life with other things, the want will allways be there but it lessens.Do keep in mind its normal and healthy for people to marry and have children, society is beyond fucked but you might want to try to get a family regardless. Because that is what would bring meaning and happiness for most people.I can't recommend you go either way, you know yourself better than i do.
You could castrate yourself but that still might not work -- you might still want an emotional connection with someone.But you should lose your 'nice guy' tendencies because that doesn't help with business either. There are various books and free websites for that.
