I’m looking to buy my first electric shaver. I’d like something that works for both face and body (armpits, etc.).Are there good all-purpose ones, or should I get a separate trimmer for body hair?

A shaver and a trimmer are two distinctly different things. I would never use a shaver on sensitive areas.

>>33858473Get good with a razor. Once you get good it's the best option. Be careful. Keep the skin tight. Don't dig in.
>>33858473Electric shavers really suck. A $50 Wahl clipper set and hot water on a razor for whatever is left is fast and easy for your face.
>>33858473Clippers for anything that's grown out.Shaver like OP for cleaning up the stubble that's left over and maintaining. That's pretty much good enough for anywhere on the body.
