I just had an argument in my head with some random who honked his horn at me because I didn’t immediately drive the second the light turned green. I told him to kill himself and that his life is worthless. How do I stop this coping mechanism where I relieve stress by releasing anger at an imaginary object of disdain?
>>33858845Roll down window and flip em off. Problem solved.
>>33858845Annoying reactive people will try to spread their anger and negativity to others, don't let it affect you too much. That does sound annoying of course and nobody will blame you for feeling annoyed for a few minutes, but if you let it ruin your morning or even your day, then try to care less I suppose. But if this "cope" works for you then I guess there's nothing wrong with it if it helps you get over the annoyance and go on with your day.
>>33858845I do this too. Mostly to amuse myself. Life can be boring.
>>33858845I do something similar. It’s not a bad thing if it helps you to restrain yourself from doing something you’ll regret. The alternative is to get out of your car and start a real argument and I’ve seen too many videos of people doing that to know what happens.
