When I come home for work, I make a quick meal, set my alarm to the latest possible time before I need to head out again, then go to sleep.
The idea is that I would naturally wake up a few hours earlier (hate waking to alarms) and then spend the few hours doing whatever I want.
But I keep sleeping for 10+ hours and then waking up to my alarm anyway.
This means that, unless I have a day off, my life is literally just work and sleep.
I just want to play some vidja gaems...
Would I be better off sleeping for a shorter, set amount of time so I have some time for myself? Even if it makes me tired and groggy? The natural amount of sleep I need seems to be 12+ hours...

I feel 8 - 10 hours once a week is good for you to replinish, especially if you limit your sleep the rest of the week.

Do you eat enough? I can sleep for 12 h cause I barely eat shit so Im tired all the time
Could be one of the cause for you

Yeah, that's about a good idea. I guess I'll leave my sleep limit to around 7-8 hours on a workday and then when I have a day off I can crash out and sleep 15 hours like I usually would.
No idea why my body wants to sleep so much.

It couldn't be that, since I never go to bed hungry. When I get home, I eat a quick meal and immediately go to bed.
