The age gap looks very intimidating to me, and I'm not so sure if I should pursue this. Should I still try to befriend her and get to know her a bit more? Would I look creepy?

Do you know her schedule? 15 min before she gets off work, go into the store and tell her you are headed to try a restaurant or cafe nearby for the first time and ask her if she's tried it. Either way, tell her you'll be there if she wants to stop by after work.

Creeping on women who work at stores is not good, they are not interested in you but are a captive to their work. Likely would walk in the opposite direction of you if they saw you outside work.
