>>33810745 I dunno still wanted to vent. made the mistake of looking up old coworkers and they're all still obviously successful engineers. realized today that the windows linux thing means you can actually do real development without having to dualboot linux. I am like almost tempted to get back into developing but feel like it might be short lived if I actually started doing shit again lmao. it would be nice to be able to do development shit without having to work off my 2013 mbp or dualboot into linux.

how huge of a difference is phone app development from websites.
Were you fired because you don't know CRUD well enough or you didn't put in any real effort into the job? Cause you can't blame your ability if you did not put it in any effort.
I put in lots of effort while I was on the job like trying to work the entire time but I didn't do side projects outside of work hours to like try to get better which could have made a big difference I dunno. I did some reading about practices like read the book on working with legacy code and rapid development for a book club the office did but while reading them I could tell that shit wasn't where I was struggling. I assure u I was trying while in office.
no i don't want to do phone shit on second thought.
it is nice how chatgpt will spit out a ton of code. yeah there's dumb shit in it even when it's really simple shit but it does a lot of typing for me which is nice.
> I heard AI makes it really easy to learn these daysgod i hate people taht don't know shit about shit.
okay i will get AI to spit out a mobile app for you and when it doesn't work that's on u lmao
