I cannot get myself to sleep early due to a combination of internet addiction and being scared to go to sleep (im not afraid of the dark im afraid of actually falling asleep) and using my phone as a sort of coping mechanism/to keep me company. This has been going on for years now and i rarely get more than a couple hours of sleep on the weekdays. How fix??//? am i cooked?

only use your bed for sleep
and tough it out

i used noise distractions to go to sleep for years
then i moved in with my gf who hated it
so she would annoy me if i wasn't getting out of bed in the morning, no matter how little sleep i had
after a week of being tired, my body learned the new routine
