>be me>fall for the beard and tan meme and tan from 19-22, ruin collagen, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles and sun spot on sclera on eye now at 22I'm just so pissed no one told me how damaging the sun is, I hold a lot of general contempt now. Now, I refuse to go outside during the day time and I use tretinoin daily to hopefully reverse the damage though my eye damage is permanent. I want to fucking end my existence. What other procedures would you guys recommend? I've been thinking about laser therapy.
>refuse to go outside during the day timejust wear sunblock
>>33868180Yeah, I do but I can get away with just neeting during the daytime so I'll do just that to get the biggest return, so to say. I've got a lot of damage I need to desperately undo.
Lactic acid is also good for collagen production but ease into it and be on top of your sun protection since it makes you more sensitive to the sun
>>33868141>tanningI'm glad my country is traumatized with the sun and you learn since you're very little how much of a poison it is
Dude, you are dumb, sun is beneficial, but at certain hours and you're not to sunbath the entire fucking day.
>>33868694>how much of a poison it isI bet your country has a high percentage of suicide.Humans need sun.
>>33868673I'm also using glycolic acid 7%, lactic acid is a bit weaker, I think
>>33868790I have type 3 skin so despite my tanning, I've never burned, but I'm sure I still damaged my skin extensively evidently by the sun spot on my eye.
>>33868790That's only because of Vitamin C and you can easily acquire Vitamin C in other ways
I really fucked up and there's no way to recover from this, fml
>>33869086i dont get it?
>>33869465Do you see that spot on my eye? I supposed it looks worse in person but my skin used to look smoother and vibrant. Now my pores are massive, my skin texture is rough. I’ve had people tell me I look quite old for my age which is extremely demoralizing because my entire lifestyle this past decade was dedicated to avoiding or preventing just that
>>33868800I'd wager he's Australian since I've heard it's a big part of the culture to teach kids and the general public the constant message to protect themselves from the sun as much as they can. Obviously in places like that they're not all running around with depression or some shit from lack of sun exposure
>>33869512Who told you that you look old for your age? What was the context? How sure are you that you're not blowing something they said out of proportion? How much of that "extremely old for your age" are you adding to what they said? Not even trying to be disrespectful, but you sound dramatic, which I get. I'm fucking full of anxiety and misery which can hit me out of nowhere. I would just guess you tend to exaggerate negatives about yourself and you should get other clear opinions from people you actually know and be careful not to put negative words in their mouth. And make sure they aren't weird skincare obsessed people, ask normal people who you trust. Not that I'm saying you shouldn't care about taking care of your skin.
>>33870843I’ve had two people tell me that I looked old, my father directly told me and then my previous boss subtly implied it. I don’t leave my house much nowadays so I’m not sure what the average person thinks. I haven’t asked nor heard of any similar comments from women my age. Also, I’ve had a few people exactly call me dramatic lately so maybe I could be. I’ve been stressed with school, health, this and life in general.
