Context?
Trafficking goes from self trafficking all the way up to chattel slavery.
You have to narrow it down a little.

Well damn I am sorry... Truly.
That is above my pay grade.
wish you the best friend.

I have done SW three times against my will with random strangers they picked for me in an apartment untill I ran off from that enviroment about four months ago. I only saw three other girls in this time each with their own space available for them, so we never interacted much. One day I basically lied to get out on my own at 4'ishAM and was lucky nobody pull a gun to stop me. Authorities don't do shit, they mostly get arrested for misdememors and get released in two or three days. Saw one of them getting arrested when he had an argument and started brawling, came back in the same week.

Can something be done to help the victims?
Surely they want to be found and helped, right? How?

I may not have words to heal you with, but my heart beats to all the survivors and victims who undergone such hellish circumstances.

Always remember it was never your fault, typically these women are preyed on early on from their enviornments. I've helped 2 women flee from their pimps by stealing back their papers (perks of a locksmith).

Always remember you're a survivor now that you're out. Your days as victim is over. You're home. You're safe. Nobody is going to make you do something like that against your will ever again. Scars will remain, but your story will not end. You are NOT defined by things out of your control. If anyone tries to weaponize shame against you then they're trying to control. Take care all of you. You are loved and capable of love.

I always have to remind people this when they see trafficking news and statistics. Their minds jump right to “child sex slavery” when most of it is dodging immigration or labor trafficking.
