How do I socialize at a bar?

>>33873738I used to go out just to play pool by myself and even then I'd have people asking to play with/against me, I used to smoke too and drink, and etc.Like the other guy said, barcades are fun and popular these days, it depends on the types of bars maybe you can get into sports as well, or with the most basic generic bar you can usually make small talk with the bartender about how it's your first time here and what's cool around the area or ask them what working as a bartender is like.

If you go to a bar you lowkey want to socialize. So if you are clean your chance to get an answer is really high.Small talk with a little group or a lonely person but never when they are more than 7 or 8 cause in this case they surely came to the bar cause they don’t have anywhere to go, i.e they are not here to socialize.If someone answers you and seems interested ask them for a cigarette (if you have seen them smoke before, or their pack is on the table).if they don’t smoke just continue chatting.A good conversation starter is to ask what they are drinking.Good luck, Anon.

>>33873738go with some friends, get a bit drunk(know your limits), talk to random peoplethat's the easiest waygoing with friends provides you some kind of social momentum. you will find it easier to talk to randoms if you've spent the last 10 minutes talking to your buddies, the bar staff, etc. as opposed to sitting silently with your drink .in the same vein, people will be more inclined to talk to you if you have your buddies nearby. they already have some kind of hint you're not a weirdo who will talk them to death the whole evening.

I hate the bar. I actually had someone accuse me of lying but bars all have their own vibe of course and this one I went in first thing some old hoe was like I bet you think you're so cool with ur beard and some old guy was like yeah.
