You realize you were attracted to your ex (at least partially) due to her physical appearance? But that appearance is separate from your actual relationship. It makes no sense for you to lose the physical attraction because that existed outside the relationship to begin with. Whether you get over her or not the physical attraction should not fade. That's a biological inclination you won't change.

Honestly, physical attraction was only secondary. I didn't even know what she looked like until months into our relationship. I loved her for her soul. Well, she abandoned me after a few years anyway.
