Is anyone good with women here?Bit of a blog post but the tldr>met a girl at a conference in my career>drank with her at an event, teased and laughed with her playing games, made fun of each other, light bullying>offer to walk her home to her hotel and she says no thanks>ok, just say to shoot me a msg when she’s home>she does and i give her my number from LinkedIn…>see her again next day and she’s kinda cold to me but says hi>then texts me to grab a drink with her before another event>flirt decently hard at event later>talk about our lives and i’m leaving tomorrow and she begs for me to reschedule my flight>say goodbye next day and again the mood is a bit colderWas so weird. I’m actually not bad with girls but she kinda fucked my head a bit. I know mixed signals means nothing and she prob just liked the attention, but I did like her. Maybe she has social anxiety. that's the kind of girl you can fuck after making her drink, but would be difficult to fuck otherwiseunluckyly for you on the first night she had a stroke of lucidity and went back to her room alone. maybe a couple more drinks would have done the trick, but who knows. you most probably did everything right but she had some kind of personal limit set up(I wont fuck a guy on the first date / at a work event / as a one-night-stand/etc.)the 'colder-on-the-next-day' attitude is just her being sober, maybe even regretting some stuff she saw herself doing with you while drunk
