Where can I ask someone if I’m chopped and get an honest answer? I don’t want to ask any friends or family because that’s an embarrassing thing to ask someone you’re going to continue seeing, but I also don’t want to ask a random stranger

In that case then IMO the best way to ask is to frame it as a joke. People tend to be loose-lipped when they joke, letting their opinions shine through their humor. Go with some friends out somewhere and if context you’re in fits, make a joke about whatever aspect of your looks you’re self-conscious about and see how they respond. If you can’t do humor then IDK that’s all I got.
