So I started uni and have made some friends there. In my friend group there is one girl who has a lot of qualities I like in women. She has a boyfriend though so I haven't tried anything, I just talk to her as a friend.
There have been a few instances in the past weeks where I felt really elated after meeting her and talking to her. I've also spent more time thinking about her lately. I wouldn't say I "like" her yet but she has my interest. Every time there is a moment like the ones I described I tell myself she's taken, we're just friends and I try to suppress it. But I'm worried I might not be able to stop it. Is there a way to prevent myself from catching feelings? The only thing that comes to my mind is stopping talking to her but that would mean abandoning the entire friend group. Or should I just force myself to pursue other girls?

You already have.
>Or should I just force myself to pursue other girls?
That's the only path forward

Same op. Girl w bf far worse qualities and money, etc than me. They both worked at my work. She liked me and moved back to Peru wo saying anything. I didnt want the drama at my job. Happened once before and blew up my job. Should have hit though. Talking to new girls helps me forget. No other advice op. Move on and talk to more girls and you will forget

rape her. If she pushes you away, you have no shot

Maybe because I don't have much experience with relationships. I only had one girlfriend for 5 months.

Yes and ask for her help.
Birds of a feather flock together and chicks do it FAR more than guys do.
"Hey 'hot chick with a boyfriend', you got any single hit chick friends, I want to go to the some hipster bullshite concert next saturday and I don't know who to take with me"
If she actually likes you and likes hanging out with you, she will not screw you over.
It'll be a different girl, but if she's just about the same other than being single, isn't that good enough?
