So I started uni and have made some friends there. In my friend group there is one girl who has a lot of qualities I like in women. She has a boyfriend though so I haven't tried anything, I just talk to her as a friend. There have been a few instances in the past weeks where I felt really elated after meeting her and talking to her. I've also spent more time thinking about her lately. I wouldn't say I "like" her yet but she has my interest. Every time there is a moment like the ones I described I tell myself she's taken, we're just friends and I try to suppress it. But I'm worried I might not be able to stop it. Is there a way to prevent myself from catching feelings? The only thing that comes to my mind is stopping talking to her but that would mean abandoning the entire friend group. Or should I just force myself to pursue other girls?
