Flatmate's crazy af.>she is an extremely picky eater, just wants vegetables and almost nothing else, except random food like minced meat done a certain way "because that's what I ate as a kid" >Getting 6-10 portions of veggies and fruit per day, but basically nothing else>still overweight (but she has lost 66 lbs since I'm cooking, which is inexplciable to her)>hates all other food, esp cooked food, always prefers cold, wet and raw>claims to also hate vegetarians and is visibly hurt when I say "you're almost vegan anyway">Since I am working home office, I cook, but she complains either verbally or just demonstratively not eating anything>All of this also massively applies in restaurants, not just home cooking>Claims "Well, your food is better anyway" while the waite is nearby>can't hold knife and fork correctly>she picks apart meat with only her fork like she's carefully eating a fish with lots of bones>seemingly at random, puts tiny parts of meat at the side of her plate, claiming "it's a vein, I can't eat that">this results in the border of her plate covered in unappetizing, tiny scraps of meat at the end of the meal>Literally divides her food into food groups on her plate and eats them according to self-set rules, ie. the stuff she likes most MUST be eaten last>All of this means she's only eating cold food since no meal can warm long enough for all this to go on without cooling>We're talking ~30 min for a small chicken thigh here>Still insists of not cooking herself, in spite of claiming to love cookingAside from the obvious, watching her eat is making my skin crawl with the way she handles food. Moving is unfortuantely impossible rn. How to talk to an autist like this?Addional Info: Her whole farmer family is quite off the deep end too, schizos, aspergers, violence, the whole 9 yards. I even had to defend myself vs her biggest brother and had the cops called on me.
>>33883662Btw, the image is not unrelated. Even just smelling seafood, even expensive sushi, even the fucking nori leaves alone, makes her dry-heave, much to everyone's "pleasure" (ie shockedly looking at each other). UNLESS ofc, it's fresh seafood from a special harbor in the place she usually goes to vacation in. And I have no clue if she is that way there too (since I damn well try to avoid hanging around her and her family too much) or if she's just bullshitting me for some reason. At least I could convince her to try things like lentil stew with vinegar, putting pepper on eggs, moussaka and some other small things over time, which greatly increased her health, but not at all her attitude to cooking and eating.Man, I miss the time when it ws legal to beat women. I feel like living with an asshole and hysteric teenager.
>>33883662In what possible way are her eating preferences any of your business? If you don't like to watch her, that may be YOUR problem more than hers.
>>33883662I wouldn't be able to deal with all of this. This behavior is also bad for her health.I'd just move away from this self harming individual.
I don't understand how any of this is your problem or anything you'd have to deal with. Did you flip the roles to garner sympathy? And your long-suffering mother or aunt became a 'flatmate'?
>>33883662Don't feed that person. Let he make her own meals.>nb4 whatever "yes but"I don't care and I won't be reading your your time-wasting bs.
>>33883662she is literally me except female and I do the cooking myself
