Here's the rundown:
>Haven't had any action on Bumble in months, despite going through "discover" nearly every day
>Come across a woman I'm pretty sure I passed on. Let's call her Dirndl.
>Couple days go by
>Get 2 notifications from bumble
>"new bee in the hive" and "it's a match"
>Open app
>Front and center on the people tab is Dirndl
>Okay, I've seen repeats before, now and then
>Check likes and it's still the same singular one that's been haunting me for seemingly forever
>Weird...
>Check chats
>It's Dirndl with the little 24hr timer around the profile
I'm very certain Bumble doesn't have a super like function like Tinder has, so how is Dirndl simultaneously in my people and chats tabs? Is the algo throwing me a pity bone, auto-accepting the first like to come my way in nearly half a year? Is Dirndl sponsored or part of Bumble, considering she works as a programmer and likely didn't hack the app? Any fellow incels on the apps have experience with this?

>Dirndl
well maybe you should lay some pipe in Dirndl to shut her up

She hasn't even said anything. It's just the canned, generic opening question. Part of me wants to accept it just to have a fighting chance. The other part of me wants to reject because I'm insulted at the algo's pity match.

I won't read app-addled threads because they're delusional. Go outside.

Bumble is literal garbage. I’d recommend Facebook Dating or Hinge.

Eh, I went for it, and she let it lapse, anyway. Story of my life.

Don't assume someone is on the apps because they want to be. At 29, the timeline from khhv incel loser to proper father is getting uncomfortably compressed. I touch plenty of grass, but anybody can tell you that the "normal" ways to meet people are on their deathbeds.
I'm involved in church, but there are very few single women at about my age, and the ones that are typically reject me because I'm not turbo-religious. I once had a girl approach me by joking that she wanted me to churn her butter (no, I'm not making this shit up) only to bail on me because I don't pray morning, noon, and night.
I'm involved in multiple dance groups and a bowling league, but again, very few single women my age who are available.
Work is in a manufacturing plant, so that's a dead end right off the bat.
Clubbing/barhopping is full of undesirables. I should know, I've been doing it for over seven years now.
Can't meet people at restaurants nowadays because everything's doordash or takeout or drive-thru.
Can't even rely on friend or family networks because family's in a whole other timezone and all the friends I've made since moving are in the same boat as me or have been out of the market for a while and wouldn't know who to ask.

I know. The app was made with the well-meaning but misguided approach that women would put in effort. I do have Hinge but that's almost as dead. I don't bother with FB dating because the people who go on fb are almost as smooth-brained as the ones who inhabit reddit.
