There's this new girl at work. We've been talking for a bit. She seems like she might be interested (or just friendly not sure). I want to ask her out but not sure how. I was thinking maybe being direct "I like you and I want to take you out" might not be the best way because I might scare her (and its a workplace environment). Should I just ask for her number/insta first and go from there? That seems more low stakes
