I'm starting university at 26, can I be considered a loser for not having done it sooner?
>>33886962It depends. Which university?
>>33886962No, ignore the faggots who say so. You're no loser.
>>33886980one from Eastern Europe
>>33886962At least you’re not 27.
>>33886998I think you already know the answer to the question. But it doesn't matter, degrees are worthless pieces of paper in themselves. It is up to you to make the most of your education.
i'm 28 thinking about going back to community college after flunking out with all Fs from 7 years ago. JUST GO FOR IT HIYAAAAAAAAAAAAA
if you're just there to go to class it's fine... but if you try to have a social life, that's when it starts to get a bit weird and maybe people might judge you. but even then it's not that weird because part of being an adult is working with people of different ages.
>>33886962No, nobody cares. Nobody cares that you're old. They assume you have career or story or whatever, probably won't ask you. Nobody cares
>>33887005I'll have them next year.
Hell, no! Keep up and avoid judgements that don't reflect on ya!
>>33887019What will you study? I never understood the difference between community colleges and private colleges.
>>33886962You can be. But the only people who will consider you a loser are the ones who just lived life following the path and reacting to stimuli. If they lack the empathy or reasoning to even try to understand why you were delayed by a few years, they're not someone who's opinion you should respect.
>>33886962Some people who've never held a job might think that. But going to college at 26 is good because you're there because you want to not because it's something everyone else is doing
yes, you took 8 extra years
>>33887173it's loser shit to want to go to college
>>33887204based
>>33887066at first it was computer engineering but then i switched to computer science and now i'm thinking of switching to something like economics or political science. community college is basically if you took university and made it dollar store brand so black people and single moms could afford it.
>>33886962If you are an NPC with no self-concept and rely on others to define you, then I have nothing to say and so I won't read your thread.
>>33886962Would it really be? I'm going to be 27 by the time I'm out of the service.
>>33887190>your achievement took a longer than most people>sure you still did it, but you did it LATE! That's BAD!
>>33887060>>33887023I just want a diploma, Iam not interested in socializing.
>>33887007>degrees are worthless pieces of paper in themselves. It is up to you to make the most of your education.scary...>>33886962nah don't worry about it
>>33886962You are fine man. Just go in and treat it like an adult not a kid with time away from mom and dad.
>>3388696226 is kinda late but I went right at 18 and utterly squandered my time. I got shit grades, made no friends (I made friends at work but none through school), and managed to have sex literally one single time in 4 years. Things have worked out for me now but holy fuck did I waste a golden opportunity. I got a college certificate at 28 and absolutely crushed it. You're at the age where you'll take shit seriously.
>>33886962Bro there people who started and graduated college in their 40s or 50s so you’re fine quit thinking you’re too old everybody has their own timeline at the end of the day
>>33886962you're never too old to further your education.
Most people never go to college/ You’re still young anyway, you’re in your mid 20s.
>>33886962No. University is not just for 18 year olds anymore. Look around you and you'll see you are actually among the younger people there.
