Hey anons, I'm 28 years old and in my junior year of Mechanical Engineering. I'm at the top of my class and crushing it academically. I'm also the only one in my cohort at this point in time who's doing a long-term engineering internship (which will likely become a job soon) on top of academic duties, all while keeping the highest GPA in the cohort. As conceited as it may sound, I'm better than 99% of my classmates. Professors treat me more like an equal rather than a 20/21-year-old kid that needs supervision and my classmates respect me. I've had students from other cohorts I've shared classes with tell me that my mentally adolescent classmates look, and I quote, "distracted" and "disoriented" compared to me, as in they don't know what the fuck they are doing and are directionless, which is pretty true. And of course, I'm much, much more mature than most students around here due to my age and experience. My question to you is this - how do I leverage my positive qualities (smarts, maturity, ambition, being way ahead of 99% of the students academically and profesionally) to get a gf or at the very least some poon? As much as I love my major and job, I still need some sexual release. I know most college-aged women don't really give a shit if a guy is ambitious and smart, they are mostly focused on looks, even if they don't realize it or don't want to admit it. But I know some do give a shit. How and where do I get those women's attention and how do I effectively advertise my qualities, without coming off as (too) arrogant? I need an efficient method, as my time is limited, due to juggling work and studies. And please anons, don't tell me to just be myself or some useless shit like that. There is nothing wrong with a man advertising his hard work in today's superficial dating marketplace, whether it's showing off your hard earned muscles or something else.
Proudly saying you’re an engineer makes women drier than the Sahara desert. Just let whatever positive personality qualities you have speak for themselves.
>>33888976And how do I let them speak for themselves? Ambition, smarts and being superior academically and professionally to other students aren't qualities that are evident at first glance, especially to young and dumb college girls which make up the majority of the women around here. And besides, what's wrong with proudly announcing I'm in engineering, at least here on campus? The young women here are in engineering too.

>>33889010>Because being an engineer is the stereotypical career path nerdy betas go down because they’re told it’ll make them boatloads of money and earn them respectI know a lot of young people go for engineering because they heard from someone it'll make them loads of money, as you said. While I am in engineering partly for that reason, I chose this path because I'm also genuinely passionate about maths, physics and learning how machines work and how they are built. So studying and working don't feel like a chore to me.Plus, mechanical engineers have a lower pay ceiling compared to, say, software "engineers" or CS nerds. If I was doing this purely for the money, I'd have gone for one of those majors instead, neither of which I'd particularly enjoy as I dislike coding.
>>33888970Your new tinder bio: "Engineering student with my eye on the ball!"If you're more mature why are you divulging every piece of information? You're in charge, not them.
>>33888970It really doesn't matter what your qualities areIf you're attractive and intelligent then you're smart, quirky, diligent, motivated, disciplinedIf you're unattractive and intelligent then you're a nerd, shut-in, loser, overcompensating, dork
