I guess there is that. Probably why one was Iranian and another is Sudanese. Even then, I have been approached by Qataris in the past (read this is as being rich). I study with a guy from Muscat and he pretty much told me the differences across the Middle East and North Africa. (He said Oman was the place where people were kind of poor, but did not care as things were happy and peaceful).

I will ask the same question as the other guy, but I am white. I would sooner care to have someone who is nice to me. I have gone out with other Americans in the past and they usually wound up disliking me because I did not drink or like to drink and I was nervous around people who drank, smoked or did drugs. I would rather not date a girl who was into those things (my first gf was an alcoholic and not the kind with discerning taste either).
