I don't get why I've always preferred short term relationships over long term ones. It's this behavior of mine that extends through all aspects, I feel like the distrust I had with my family might have made it impossible for me settle down and cultivate long term friendships or relationships in general. I am almost entirely comfortable with speaking to someone out of the blue and learning about them, and helping them in person, but I find it hard and insanely difficult to keep with them long term. I don't know if I'm just depressed or retarded or if it's something else, but I always give up, even though they prefer maintaining contact, even if they're actually interested in keeping up to date with me, I don't know.
