>meet new people at school
>talk to them, get to know them, they are nice to me at first
>i didnt fumble yet, right?
>over time they become distant and colder, they immediately stop talking when i come near and start up their conversations again when i leave
>i think they dont like me but i dont know what i did
>this repeats with everyone i meet and i end up alone again

how can i cope with being alone? will this last forever?

Do YOU reach out to THEM? Are you ever the one who says "Let's all go see that new movie this weekend" or whatever?

From the outside, shyness looks a lot like aloofness. If you don't regularly signal your interest in the friendship, they'll get the idea that you don't like them. And then they'll try to respect what they think are your wishes and leave you alone
