So yeah, I'm 29, got a law degree, a girlfriend and a loving family. I've been living with my girl for a few months, and all the while I've been trying to get a job but no luck yet, well actually I havent found a decent job this whole year. My girl is very patient and kind but even her gets worried sometimes, because we are not going anywhere, no savings, no house, we plan to get married and have kids but idk if its such a great idea rn. Just fyi, im not based in the US. I know I should be doing better, my peers are doing much better than me. I spend all day in our (rented) apartment looking for a job, then playing video games and gooning a bit. I know my degree is useful, a tool to generate money but Idk what Im doing wrong, and Im not willing to scam people either. Thoughts?
>>33899234Things might be different in your country I don't know where you're from, but from what I understand is that the job market is pretty awful globally right now. Law, unfortunately, does not have the best optics for the future either, entry level law jobs (like paralegals) are some of the first that are getting replaced by AI. That being said, a law degree is a law degree and it is still a useful tool to generate money. In the meantime, pick up some other kind of job that you can use to make at least a little bit of money. Apply as a construction worker, waiter, or anything you can get. Be humble enough to do something that's not directly related to what you studied. Good luck anon you'll be alright.
