Not quite advice but I don’t know where else to ask this.
Whenever I have a chest cold, if I try to cough out the mucus causing my congestion, I have to “breathe to the level” that the chest congestion is at and cough there to actually get it out. What’s the real term for this technique and what’re the actual mechanics for how mucus is expelled at a specific “level” of your inhale?
General cold remedies and cold medicine recs to keep this on topic would be appreciated too
