I know it’s the moe/2000s anime style but I been trying to master it for 3 years now. I’ve been making art for 10. Anywho. I love this art style but I think everything looks off?? I want tips and advice /tutorials.
I know it’s ass but this is currently my state of art now. quick sketch before I left to go to work.
I think it's cute, you just need to adjust the body's proportions, like making the legs and torso a bit shorter. Also in this type of style the head usually seems to be bigger than normal proportions. You definitely nailed the eyes and expression. I'd place the mouth slightly lower but it's fine anyways. You're good, I hope you'll show the finished art!
ask on an /a/ drawthread or somethingbest of luck tho, goated artstylealso, not everything of this style is perfect amazing wow, sometimes it looks shit, see the majority of this anime (wandaba); just one of those things man keep fucking with it till its right to you
>>33997905>>33997930finally. someone asking for advice that isn't about sex for once. if you've been at it for years now it's best to use references, copying poses, trying to recreate the proportions even through your sketches. you're already closer than you think
>>33998271Since when has every thread here been about sex?
>>33997930This is terrible no offenz dude, no way you been making art for 10 yearsEven that 00's artstyle is shit but it's shit in a charming way and what's good about them are the little effects and decorations they have, the fashion and colours the poses and windy stuff etc it's about the decisions to add particular things and features, like the vibrant colours and glossy lighting. Like that's what separates it from other art styles and makes you recognise oh, that's sthn from 2005 or whateverStop the chicken scratchingAnyway it's just basic (early moeshit) anime art, human anatomy posing etc, clothing, then you can add the 00's lustre to it after you draw the shapes n shit
>>33998576And tacky Photoshop/adding graphics stuff that also helps with the style
