Today a new girl started at work, a coworker introduced her as being from the same school graduating year as me, and she mentioned that she knows 2 people from my friend group (one I’m kinda close with (#1), the other I think is nice to me if he’s with my friends but we don’t talk otherwise and he’s never accepted me on socials (#2))I message #1 asking if he knows her and he sends a ss of the message to the other guy #2 ‘bro keep her safe and away from him ’ - she shows me this and I laugh it off.She then decides to send a selfie of us to guy #2 so i just join in - and whilst we’re talking i see him message her ‘never mention my name to anyone again’ and im sure this is in a serious way.Is my career cooked? Is this justified? I’m so nervous she’ll never wanna talk to me again
