Im worried that I made someone mad at me a few days ago. I've messaged them asking if we're still cool but they haven't replied. They're going on a holiday soon, would it be weird to message them wishing them a fun trip? Or should I just give them space given they havent replied to my earlier message?

Yeah. Do that and request to let you know how it goes.

Give them space to respond to your other message. Also, just don't think about them in the meantime

You people are giving me contradicting advice, i dont know what to pick here

Ignoring them has lower risk. For some reason, you want this person to acknowledge you. If you do message about their trip and they don't respond, you'll feel even worse, right?

Its more that they messaged me when I went on holiday, so I feel obliged to do the same. I dont want to seem uncaring or ungrateful I suppose.

Do one by doing the other.
