Can I make easy money by just posting a fake game on Steam?

>create amazing fake screenshots and trailers for a nonexistent game
>upload the "game" to Steam for $60
>it's just a jpg that says "lol" but the person won't know that until they've already bought the game
>if I sell 1000 copies I get $60,000
>16,000 copies and I'm a millionaire

Is this a good idea or a bad idea?

Do people do it already?

here's an alternative way;
actually build the skills, make a solid video game, make good money and be proud of yourself. then, create more and make it your livelihood! wow! you will be famous & rich & capable! but work is hard, i understand.

everyone would just refund it if they buy it at all. You also need to put down a 100$ deposit to put a game on steam, and steam takes a cut of each game sale, so its not even like an "I only need to sell one lemonade" situation.

I can't believe OP doesn't know about refunds and basic consumer protections.
