I am considering a career change. I am currently in Healthcare and have a pre health bachelor's but I have completely lost the desire to grind through applications and go to med school. I was thinking about doing accelerated nursing but i have 0 interest in that. I have been interested in tech and computers my whole life and I'm considering pursuing CS or engineering and just getting a second bachelor's degree. But how are the prospects now considering AI and the market changing so much? Is this worth doing?
>>34005726How long is a piece of string? This is a question only you can answer, we don't know your personal life in and out so how can we know if this will be worth doing for you?My advice would be do more research, how well versed with computers are you, computer science is one of the hardest subjects.
>>34005758So I've taken an intro to programming course and I've programmed a little bit. I'm very comfortable with computers but obviously I'd like to learn more. Specifically, it would be fun to mess with data and AI but I'm open to anything. Games are awesome too. I guess I just have second thoughts because of all the things about AI taking jobs and all the jobs being outsourced or hiring H1Bs. I don't want to invest any more money into something unless I know the path is secure.
