Pretty contemptuous of AI and I’m fucking fatigued of hearing about it but admittedly I’ve been using chatgpt to help me make a case study for a job. I’m not naive about data farming and surveillance but I never thought ChatGPT would farm so much info without my consent. I strategically tried to stay as anonymous as possible (no real name, fake email), and after I signed up for a free trial of plus before cancelling so I could feed it my research diagrams I realised that it scrapped my birth name off my bank card, and from some past convo that I deleted it knows my suburb. It also very obviously has my IP because it will recommend restaurants near me when asked, then it flat out denies it has my IP. I don’t know what I’m worried about since I’m a normal guy and there’s nothing compromising on there but it’s really pissing me off and I feel my privacy has been directly violated. I’m well aware that this happens to everyone everyday on every platform but I’d at least like to have the right to fucking wipe it. Should I care? How long does this deleted info last? And how the fuck do get it to forget my real name? That’s too far.

>>34006250Do not associate with robots. Also, who cares? Everything is fake now and you have always been in public listings.
>>34006339Do people read? Like, the instructions for your phone tell you that they cause cancer. Here is googol saying they own your thoughts.
