I’m almost 24 and I still get incredibly anxious about getting a haircut. This anxiety starts even a day before I plan on going to the barber shop. I’ve been experiencing this since I was an adolescent and it must be tied to my desire to look attractive. Today, my anxieties were reinforced after the barber fucked up the haircut and made it too short. Now my average/ugly face is revealed. My hair was the only thing going for me in terms of looks. I’m supposed to work at my shitty service wagie job tomorrow and I’m dreading going in for obvious reasons. I feel worse than I usually do. Does anybody else relate?
just don't get haircuts anymore really, just grow your shitty hair out and become a ponytail dude
>>34009119oh, the gargantuan existential problems of youth, how do you even survive such torments
>>34009119I kinda like when the barber cuts it a little too short cause in a week or two your hair's going to look godlike and until then you can rock a hat
>>34009119Just get a buzz cut or something similar, go bald even, and not have to worry about how it looks since apparently it’s your face that you’re worried about anyways (which the hair was never going to change and hiding can actually signal that you’re insecure about that). Also, it’s a lot easier to wash and whatnot, though you may need to buy beanies and the like, along with caps for your summer.Truly, I do get worrying about looks, but at a certain point, it does more damage. So just own it, because the type of people judging you for how attractive you are are exactly the type of people whose opinions you shouldn’t care for anyways. If you’re clean and don’t smell bad, and obviously not making others uncomfortable from exposing certain parts of your body (not your face, stupid), then that is what the people whose opinions actually matter will notice in you.
>>34009168No bc sometimes I get great haircuts. It’s always a coin toss whenever I see a barber. >>34009175Thanks for still considering me as youthful. >>34009244This guy fucked it up royally. >>34009267>go bald Even worse
>>34009267>which the hair was never going to change and hiding can actually signal that you’re insecure about thatNot quite. For an average-looking guy, his hairstyle can make all the difference. It’s an important part of looksmaxxing.
Then dont get a haircut
>>34010464Did you not read the op? He already got the haircut
