I cannot make friends. How do I make friends? I want people to come over and sit on my couch and play video games and eat pizza.
>>
be confident, copy mannerism, interests, humor and the fashion style of someone you know irl that has a lot of friends and then just interact with people who suit whomever persona u adopted

go to your local dive bar for a couple days a week. become a regular. sip some cheap drinks and talk to the locals.

Is that what you did?

I am allergic to alcohol so I will have to drink soda

No, but I also dont care too much about friends or making any new ones, I would say I have 4 very good friends irl (almost all are very old friendships, so I never was in a postion with none and I still go to school as I am only 18) There whenever I do get bored and I am alone, I just socialise with people I think are easy to approach or I assume we might have some interests in common with some of those I socialise, I then develop a friendship with naturally. So you could also just try that with people you see around your enviroment. Now if I had no friends and would really just wanna have any I would do what I commented earlier, as its the quickest way
(though ofc many of them wont be genuine friends because your portraying someone you are not)
Also what about Online Friends, is that not an option for you?
>>
Try find people in the same position as you online (that also live somewhat close to where you live) and see if you guys can develop a proper friendship, then later you could meet up irl

Nobody wants to play the same games anymore, unfortunately. Also, people don't seem to like watching a friend play a game while they look up the guides online anymore. Also, there aren't many couch multiplayer games, everyone needs to bring their own console/PC and copy of the game, for most games. Free to play games help with this.

yeah I dunno I tried going to local gigs with people and I tried having conversations and making friends and it just doesn't work because even if you talk to someone for a while they have their own friends and dont really care to make a new one, I am accepting at soon to be 25 my social life is dead and gone. It is just me and will remain as such.

I bought a switch 2 because I miss local multiplayer and Nintendo stuff in general

Why is multiplayer becoming not a thing? It’s as if they want to turn children into spergs.

After a certain age people just become too busy to socialize.

I don't know anon. I am currently in uni and mostly surrounded by fake people, while we can compare our lifestyles or have similar view on things we are not made for each other for shit because I just know I'd be thrown under the bus.
"Friends" to me are just about gossip and the real ones are whoever stayed since elementary school or maybe high school, that is if they haven't moved on from you already lol.
I have the same issue of making actual friends because honestly, people lack any hobbies and they care more about gossip or complaining rather than bringing some positivity to the world and having shared interests where you should logically have good time together.
My best bet would be to go to certain events or places such as gym (if that is what you find interesting) and sometimes hitting people up because you like their haircut or making a small talk when the timing is right.

I'm also lost in this because the perception of friends I've learned first was so much different from what it actually is. It's a shitty tribe where you look who's the bigger loser and always trying to find a victim, even within the group. They get so pissed off when you realize that stuff and leave them because it's a massive blow to their ego.

Yeah.

Multiplayer is online now.

I think that's bullshit. It's more likely friends you used to have just moved on from you. Like married couples now hang out with other couples, their kid's friend's parents, etc. They don't want to associate with single losers anymore. Likewise, single people can find other people they associate with more and avoid you as well

Heh. I met Mayor Pete a couple times. Just cracking jokes at bbq. He’s a fag.

First learn how to small talk and empathize. There are great books on how to small talk. Remember everything starts surface level.
