Am I a psychopath?

psychopaths lack empathy, not emotions

No more sigma edits for you!! Srsly tho you might just be depressed, I suggest therapy and attempting to pursue what acc satisfactorily resonates w you

Like that other anon said, psychopaths actually do feel emotions. Not feeling emotions is something else
>>

this. psychopaths feel things, they just have no capacity to mirror those feelings onto other people, and therefore have near-total immunity to social stress involving shame or guilt, because both require the capacity to consider how other people feel about them or their actions.

Odds are 99% no. Psychopathy is rare as shit. Also psychopathy doesn't mean "I feel no emotions". Psychopathy means you cannot conceptualize long-term actions or goals, only short-term ones. Psychopathy is when you only care about stimulation and satisfaction RIGHT NOW. And you will do whatever it takes to get what you want, including but not limited to fucking others over.

Psychopaths don't mind using other living human beings to get what they want if the situation calls for it. They may use other people maliciously or indifferently or even beneficially (see: surgeons, most of them are on the psychopathy spectrum).
Sadists and sadism is what makes someone malignant. Psychopathy is neutral.

Chances are you got dissociation from something. Common cause: (c)PTSD. Trauma will numb and kill emotions in you as a form of protection to keep you sane and from mental breakdown.

This can be put into remission and your emotions restored.

Isn't that a schizoid trait, not a psychopath one?
>>
>>34055485
No, you probably have a bunch of ghosts locking your nervous system up because they believe if they let you relax that bad things will happen, and in the past this may have been true, but now that you're wondering about this things have possibly changed and you can tell the ghosts to chill out and stop possessing you.

Spot-on.

The ghost says to OP:
>Don't show emotions. It makes you visible, makes you a target, makes you visible, makes you a target. Hide, hide, hide, hide. Don't feel, don't bleed, the sharks can smell blood. People will know, people will destroy you if you are spotted. Become a ghost, become a ghost like one of us.

Yes, schizoid types have no emotions, I've met quite a few.

Yeah.. probably.

That's why I wear the mask. That's what the masks for.

Careful with the mask my friend. Wear the mask long enough and the mask starts to wear (you). You won’t know which side of the mask you are on, and then your real self & your mask start waging a war against the other on the inside. Masking ends in self-hate until finally you no longer know who you are anymore.

Worry not though, the ‘self’ is like a sponge. It can be squeezed down into nothing but if you let it loose and free, it springs back and you find it again.
