Recovering from wisdom teeth removal surgery, on day 6.

I think the healing is going wel las my mouth doesn't have any pain, the problem is food, I've been restricted to a diet of yogurt, pudding, applesauce and water until the 3 sites heal up.

By Christmas I should be alright but I've been feeling pretty weak and tired, that's apart of the healing process or is it because I'm not getting enough substance from this new diet? What should I do? I've thought of eating cup noodles but that benchmark isn't allowed until day 14 I think?

You probably have enough calorie intake, adding ramen doesn't give any nutrients at all. You could try adding multivitamins and electrolytes.

Who was your butcher? I had the teeth removed in the morning and was ready for real food by dinner.

They advised against eating hard foods like tacos, pizza, burgers, anything you can chew for 2 weeks because that food could get into the sockets which could trigger a dry socket.

I have to wait for the wounds to close up before going to chew those types of food.

yeah, no hard foods, nothing too hot or cold, nothing too acidic, for at least a week or 2.
this will take months to heal up fully.
>t had 1 /4 removed half a year ago by a prominent dentist, without any stitches or complications and it took like 3 months for the site to fully close.
you better listen to them and keeping the diet. yeah it sux but better be over with it and healed nicely up, then having a nasty infection and losing healthy teeth.
you made the msitake of removing them all at the same time. you do it firstly on one side, so the other can still chew and then the other.
i too got food all the time in the empty space, but if you carfeully and gently brush it and use mouthwash, it all gets cleaned up easiuly.
get well soon op
