I'll make it short. Started a new job that I was a shoo-in before and offered but turned down for bigger commission. That ended in fire so when back and they hired me at the same agreed wage. 2/7 male to female ratio with me in the loser bracket and the other guy as a part time. Boss has the highest customer service in the market area and wants to absolutely keep it that way. I have previous experience and see that they are not really pushing any kind of sales and are assuming on behalf of the customer rather then offering all the options. To their detriment. I have above board sales and numbers for a new hire but my female colleges and boss are finding friction where I absolutely am not intending to cause it. I have 1 official trainer (boss) and 4 vets who have their own way of doing things. I get 5 different answers to the same question. If I ask and do things the bosses way I appears as if I'm snubbing the others. I've tried to explain that she is my boss and I'll ultimately defer to her judgement and recommendations but want to see how others do things for contrast. It feels like she sees this like a betrayal and I do not trust her answers. To be fair I am the first new hire in this location in almost a year so they are not used to new people but I feel like I am being crushed by every side when I just want to be thankful for the help and experience they have while not being locked in their own ways. Is it best to play along with everyone or keep the boss happy?
bothyou use the best method that makes you the most productive and goal accomplishing, and you incept your boss into thinking they came up with it, and in fact, your coworker was only doing it that way because they remembered your boss saying xyz works best

Then their right hand tells you to do damn near the exact opposite in front of them. What the hell do you even say? Either I say nothing and boss thinks I'm ignoring them. I fucking tattle and say WELL BOSS SAYS THIS IS WRONG or I find the compromise and ask inquisitively. "Oh you do this because of this and X and Y to find Z. Boss showed me this because of W". So please one, neither or both.
