Forgive the low effort thread but as the title says I am literally petrified of getting older, I turned 20 a few days ago and I genuinely wholeheartedly believe my life is over. I don't need anyone to tell me that this is a retarded feeling to have but I just need to be rid of it. It feels as if anything I achieve from here on out is less meaningful because I could have done it earlier, in other words I am dealing with intense regret about not doing certain things sooner or arriving at certain conclusions earlier than I have. How can I stop being such a faggot about this and just enjoy my life without dwelling on the fact my youth is over ?
>>
keep dwelling, that's what i did

1. 20 is literally nothing. The overwhelmingly majority of people have achieved nothing at this age. NOW is your time to do literally whatever you want, the power is yours. You are literally at the peak. 25 is when it's actually over.
2. You fear aging because you lack accomplishment. Start doing things NOW because now is the perfect time.
>could have done it earlier.
Like what? What could you have done earlier? Most people who accomplish a lot before 20 are yuppy kids with rich parents.
>>
OP, I feel for you. 20 was a rough year for me too. But my life turned around at 21, then I hit a hurdle at 22, and by now, at 25, I feel like I've done a decent job. Keep your head up. Don't dismiss your feelings, understand and learn from it, but don't dwell on it and keep you down. You got this

What's on your list of regrets?

Not becoming a child actor or tween singer? Being one of those super-intelligent kids that graduates from Harvard as an 8 year old but then we inexplicably hear nothing about for the rest of their life?

those threads are really odd for me. i´ve been in shambles when i was 18-27, once i got "old" my life turned around for the better

Did you know there have been kings who were crowned while they were still in their mother's belly? Seriously, they would put the crown on her stomach.

How are you gonna beat that?
