My downstairs neighbour made a noise complaint that we vacuum too much. I vacuum our 2 bed room apartment literally only every other day. Is that considered too much or?

I only vacuum once a week. But it seems like the real problem is that you live in an apartment building where the floors are thin and your neighbor is sensitive to loud noises.

Once a week is a bit more normal. Every other day is insane.

check your local laws for hours when you can make noise? Depending on state/neighborhood/community/county/whatever, there must be some hours where you can make as much noise as you want.

Unless you vacuum at like 1am, then of course they will be mad af
